Julie is in her third and final year of graduate studies at Vanderbilt University, where she is pursuing her M.Ed. in Human Development Counseling with a focus on Clinical Mental Health and School Counseling. Prior to becoming a counselor, she spent four years as an elementary teacher. This experience enriched her understanding of the diverse needs of children and deepened her commitment to creating supportive environments for them and their families.
Julie's professional journey has also included roles as a school counselor in both elementary and middle school settings, as well as working with adolescents and children in foster care. As a dedicated counselor, Julie meets clients where they are and works together with them to support their healing journey and achieve their personal goals. she is especially passionate about empowering women and children, helping them feel confident and at ease in their own bodies.
Julie is particularly drawn to holistic approaches, recognizing the importance of addressing both mental and physical well-being. She is committed to providing a nurturing and empathetic space where clients can feel safe, valued, and supported as they navigate life's transitions.
