Postpartum Support International (PSI) is the world's leading organization dedicated to preventing and treating perinatal mood and anxiety disorders — and connecting families to support worldwide.

Call or text "help" to 1-800-944-4773 (English) or 971-203-7773 (Spanish). Visit postpartum.net.

What PSI Offers

PSI provides direct peer support, professional training, and a bridge connecting families to qualified providers. Their helpline is staffed by trained volunteers who have personal experience with perinatal mood disorders — which means when you call, you're often speaking with someone who has been where you are.

PSI's resources include:

  • A warmline (not a crisis line) for peer support by phone or text
  • A provider directory to find trained specialists in your area or via telehealth
  • Support groups for postpartum depression, anxiety, birth trauma, pregnancy loss, NICU families, and more
  • Resources in multiple languages
  • A weekly "Chat with an Expert" free online support group

Who It's For

PSI supports mothers, fathers, partners, adoptive parents, and families experiencing any perinatal mental health challenge — before or after birth, including pregnancy loss and infertility. You don't have to have a diagnosis to reach out.
